News from the fleet:
We await the remainder of the fleet with the arrival of Alexforbes ArchAngel and Argonaut, the two youngest teams in the fleet. Alexforbes ArchAngel, skippered by Sibusiso Sizatu was greeted with much fanfare on the dock by fellow competitors. RCYC Sailing Academy can now comfortably say that they have an offshore sailing program thanks to the generosity of Alexforbes.

All well on Nyamezela… Hectic night.. squalls galore !! Hope nobody tracked us.. We made donuts, u- turns, went North, South and east… little west at least 🥵😁😀⚓️⛵️
Felix
Liquor ban lifted. This was partly due to us reaching the 500nm to Rio mark as well as the imposition of water shedding. The Sailor took out his 2lt Merlot and carefully measured out 4 glasses. The Artist, put in charge, did not partake. The Meerkat and Miss C came running with the sound of wine being poured, music turned on and a small celebration had by all. Miss C and Meerkat looked on expectantly as their wine emptied. Unfortunately for the opposition, the box was empty, yet still torn apart and the bladder squeezed until the remaining drops shared between the 2. Next target 100nm from Rio. Alcohol ban reinstated. 10lt of distilled water found. This increases our water rationing to 3lt a day much to the delight of Doubtfire who had become rather unsteady on his feet. The Sailor eagerly awaits the return of his feathered friends tonight to finish off his life story. The Meerkat intends to handfeed them dead flying fish. Otherwise all is well aboard a rather dry SV Felix. Out.
