We encourage you to plan your Winter Sun of 2022 to coincide with our event. With the start date now less than 23 months away, finalising logistics is an important part of race preparation.
The Organising Committee of C2R2023 continue to work closely with Peters & May to evaluate the best possible loading locations across the globe for sailing teams to consider, this will allow participant to maximise the use of their boats before shipping, a service out of the Mediterranean has already been advertised with loading locations of Malta and Palma following the completion of the 2022 Middle Sea Race. This is anticipated to be a charter service subject to a minimum freight booking requirement.
A regular service is also available out of Northern Europe originating with potential loading locations of Rotterdam, Hamburg, Bremen, Immingham, Antwerp and Lisbon all being possible. On this route we are able to secure individual bookings subject to space availability on the applicable vessel, 2-3 sailings a month take place with a transit time of approximately 3 weeks.
