This edition of the Cape 2 Rio yacht race has two starts.
On the 26th of December the smaller, slower boats will depart while the rest of the fleet, the bigger, faster yachts set sail on the 1st of January. There are 30 entrants in all with a big international flavour and 10 countries represented.
