This video is a vignette of the 2014 Cape-to-Rio Race; a crossing of the South Atlantic from Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro. Early in the race gale-to-storm force winds wiped out a third of the fleet. One sailor perished. The skipper was Jon Sanders. The yacht, Perie Banou II.
