Personal Survival Techniques (PST) Course

Information regarding the Survival Course:

The NOR states: “5.2.2.2.4. He can present evidence of having attended a course on Survival Training. Alternatively, another member of the crew may, for the purposes of this subparagraph, be substituted.”

CPUT offers the PST course. The course will take place over a duration of two days. The course has a practical pool component on the 2nd day. So candidates will be required to bring something to swim in and a towel.
