Both CYU Solitaire and Serendipity arrived in Rio de Janeiro under pouring rain. Locals were delighted, as the city has been enjoying the welcome relief of rain over the past few days. The weather certainly did not dampen the spirits on board either yacht – nor their enthusiasm for a well-earned cold beverage on arrival!
Solitaire completed her crossing in 23 days, 20 hours and 58 minutes, with Serendipity following just four hours later.
