We have crossed the halfway mark with the mid Atlantic ridge directly below us. The end is in sight 🍾🥂🥳. Last 24 h have been very kind to us. We have been trucking along at 8-10 knots mostly with an A2 up yesterday and A4 up last night and this morning. A good following breeze and a fairly calm sea. Gybing back and forth to stay in the favourable wind band. Today we changed our bedding which is now pretty sticky and revolting given that we can’t afford to use freshwater to wash. 🤢Most of us have a bath every few days on the sugar scoop but this still leaves one salty and sticky. We will have to survive with the current bedding until we get to Rio. Best you all keep your distance when we arrive…
