- 2007 Crew on a Sovereign 54' 2008 Trinidad to the Grenadines and back to Trinidad. 1 st, ocean sailing. Day Skipper 2010 Crew on Mon Reve, a Armel 40' Durban to Perth. Southern ocean Route. Coastal Skipper 2013 Crew on Compass Rosey, a Polaris 43' Mazatlan Mexico to Marquesas Islands. Coastal Skipper. I am 73 years old and a good all rounder. Have my own 32' yacht in Mazatlan, Mexico. I would Ideally like to sail Cape to Rio then up the East coast of the Americas and work my way across to the Pacific and my destination would be Mazatlan, Mexico.
